Presentation instructions

All presentations must be delivered in English, the official language of the MIC Conference.

1. Individual Oral Presentation (Sessions)

Each presenter is given a 20-minute slot. We recommend allowing approximately 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Please practice your presentation to adjust your timing accordingly.

2. Individual Oral Presentation (Symposium)

Symposia are allotted a 60-minute time slot. Since symposia have a different number of speakers, the chairs are asked to organize the timing of each presentation so as to respect the length of the planned time slot. Please practice your presentation to adjust your timing accordingly.

3. Poster

Please print your poster so that it fits within the free-standing bulletin board (B0 format).

To make your poster presentation effective:

  • Keep your poster as simple as possible
  • Create enough contrast between text and background
  • Avoid heavy/complex pictures or patterns as background
  • Balance text and pictures
  • Use simple sentences
  • Explain acronyms
  • Use a character size readable from 2 meters (>20 points)
