The MIC Conference 2026 will be hosted at the Complesso di Santa Cristina, a former 15th-century Camaldolese monastery in the heart of Bologna, today part of the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
Restored in 2004 and entrusted to the University, the Complesso is built around a monumental quadrangular cloister. The former refectory, decorated with a Crucifixion fresco from the school of Lorenzo Costa, has been transformed into the Aula Magna, where the main sessions of the conference will take place.
A unique setting where medieval architecture and contemporary academic life coexist, offering an inspiring backdrop for an international gathering on creativity.
